They created a virtual company called Rocket Wheels, selling a motorized shoe which travels at speeds up to 10 miles per hour. The Trade Show consisted of over 30 teams from Virginia, California, and North Carolina competing in 14 different events. Rocket Wheels placed in 8 of those events:
1st place in Impact Marketing
1st place in Website Design
2nd place Video Commercial
3rd place Human Resource Case Study
3rd place Job Interview
4th place Best Booth
5th place Company Apparel
5th place Human Resource Employee Manual.

The Rocket Wheels executive officers traveled to New York City March 25-29th to represent Virginia in an International Business Plan Defense competition, Global Business Challenge and Trade Show. The students gave two presentations before a panel of judges asking for $500,000 as a start up loan for the company. Two of the Rocket Wheels team members were selected to represent Virginia in the Global Business Challenge which included students from seven countries working to solve a Harvard Business Case Study. The final activity of the events in New York City concluded with a Trade Show involving over 150 teams from the United States, Austria, Brazil, Bulgaria, Germany, Romania and Wales. What an exciting opportunity for the members of Rocket Wheels!
