Advanced Academic Programs News

Parents of 2nd through 6th grade students may referral their child for
Level 4 Advanced Academic Services
by submitting the parent referral form by February 5. 

Advanced Academics was formerly known as Gfted/Talented and Level 4 is the center based program.  For most Herndon Elementary students that program is at Clearview Elementary. Hispanic Parents Meeting

Come join us in the First Hispanic Parents Night 2010. You’ll have the chance to meet new parents and see old ones that, like you, are looking for the success of their children in school. We’ll talk about different subjects (ie: atten-dance, forms, etc.) and I’ll respond your questions and concerns. Please come!

We’ll have snacks and beverages—you can bring a dish—and a surprise raffle.

Announcing the 2010 Spring Break PE and Art Camp!
Directed by HES teachers Mr. Johnson and Mr. Henry
Open to all HES students K-6th grade

March 29th -April 2nd
8:30am-12:30 pm

This week will be a chance to learn new games and work on a variety of sports
skills & art concepts. As always, our main focus will be on good
sportsmanship and individual achievement in a lively and fun environment!

This camp is a Herndon ES PTA sponsored Fundraising event.
The fee for the Spring Break camp is $100 per participant.

Early Student Pick-ups and After School Changes
For the safety and comfort of your children please have all of your after school plans and pick-up changes taken care of before your child comes to school. We are happy to help in true emergencies and we understand that unforeseen circumstances occur, but there may be times when we are unable to locate your child in time to make the necessary changes.
