Are We Alone Out Here?

Many of us don't realize  that the solar system is still a very dangerous place to be.  The Earth is bombarded by millions of objects every day.  Fortunately most of these objects are only about the size of a sand grain.  Still, there are some that could cause major problems for life here on Earth if impact with our planet does occur.

Is there anything being done about this potential catastrophe?  Yes!  But the science of Doomsday is still small.  Below you will find links to some interesting sites that discuss the topics of meteor and comet impacts.
