Who is Hayfield's SBTS?

Mrs. Snyder graduated from The College of New Jersey with a degree in Elementary Education and Sociology. She started her teaching career back in 1998 in Prince George's County and taught fifth and first grade. In 2000, she came to FCPS and worked for five years as a second grade teacher.

Her interest in technology continued to grow as an educator, so she sought out a master’s degree in Educational Technology Leadership from George Washington University and with a new vision, entered the corporate world in 2005 as an E-Learning Analyst. Mrs. Snyder worked on a multi-million dollar project and helped to design courses using instructional design methodologies and processes. After 2 years, she came back to her roots and began teaching again as Hayfield's SBTS!

Elementary schools in the Hayfield Pyramid are proactively investigating best practices for student use of personally owned technology tools for instructional purposes.  Once a protocol for personal technology use is put in place, elementary students in the Hayfield Pyramid schools will be allowed to use personal technology in the schools. Thank you for your understanding and commitment to the Hayfield Pyramid.
