Podcasts at HES

At Hayfield Elementary, we encourage our students to become "GLOBALLY COMPETENT GRADUATES". By using podcasts, students are given the opportunity to verbalize their learning through audio and sometimes audio/visual format. As a result, other students, parents, and teachers have the option to download the information to a portable media device and access it anytime, anywhere! Our students benefit from using this 21st century technology as their educational experience is improved and expanded beyond the traditonal classroom.

All of our podcasts are available as MP3s and are audio files, indicated by this graphic:bluepodcast. These MP3 files may be downloaded for playback on computers or MP3 players. Right-click and choose "Save Target As" to download.

Some podcasts are also available with graphics as a Windows Media file, indicated by:listen . You will need Windows Media Player for those podcasts with graphics.

***Soon you'll be able to find these podcasts on iTunes! Stay tuned for updates!
