Leonardo da Vinci
Project

daVinci

What is it?

Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519) was an Italian mathematician, scientist, engineer, inventor, anatomist, painter, sculptor, musician, and writer. Historians consider Leondardo the true Renaissance Man. He is described as, "A man whose seemingly infinite curiosity was equalled only by his powers of invention". His many inventions and drawings are a true testament to a man that "conceived ideas vastly ahead of his own time". Leonardo's journals document the power and importance of daily observations of the world and our ability to problem solve. He serves as a role-model for lifelong learning.
