START TEAM

What is the START Team?

START stands for Students as Resources for Technology. Simply stated, the START team is a technology club where students come together to learn various applications offered at Hayfield ES. Not only do our students become experts on the applications and how the comuter works, but they also serve as Technology Ambassadors for the 5th grade Global Awareness Technology Project. This year, team members will work closely with Microsoft Photo Story and Movie Maker and will have the opportunity to create highly engaging multimedia projects.

Who sponsors the START Team?

Mrs. Snyder, Hayfield's School Based Technology Specialist, is the team's sponsor. Mrs. Snyder has an extensive background in education and e-learning and holds a Master's Degree in Educational Technology Leadership from George Washington University.
