Notes from the Principal's Coffee on January 12 are posted on the News and Notes page.
Hello Parents of Haycock Cougars!
Haycock is thrilled to be participating in the 2012 Pennies (Pasta) for Patients. Every year, Haycock tries to raise hundreds of dollars to help local families who have children battling blood cancer and are affiliated with The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. This year’s theme is, “Hats on for Leukemia and Lymphoma Patients.” Each classroom teacher will be given a collection container in the shape of a top hat. Every day, students are asked to donate change to their classroom. All coins will be accepted between February 6th-24th. The coins will be collected each day by your child’s classroom SCA representative. The classroom with the largest donation amount will earn a whole class pasta party at Olive Garden, Yummy!! On Friday, February 24th, the children can wear a crazy hat or hair to share their school spirit and participation. Haycock’s Student Council Association cannot wait to show The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society what giving hearts the Haycock community has.
Are you wondering why we haven’t had much snow this year? Maybe Haycock’s Snowflake Challenge will help answer that question. Complete the activities in the challenge and return them to Mrs. Sesso on February 1-3. Maybe all of our thinking about snowflakes will make some fall. Have a blast!
