April is the Month of the Military Child
It is a time to honor military youth for the important role they play in contributing to the strength of the military family.
Why Purple? Purple is the color that symbolizes all branches of the military, as it is a combination of Army green, Coast Guard blue, Air Force blue, Marine red, and Navy blue. Wearing the color purple is a visible way to show support and thank military youth for their strength and sacrifices.
Here at Haycock we will be wearing purple on Friday April 15. More.
The Supply Lists for the 2015-2016 School Year are now available on the Supply Lists page.
You can now report absences or tardies online! Use this new form, also available via the link in our contact information header above, to report attendance information for your child.
We now also have an Online Transportation Change Request form you can use to communicate with Haycock staff about changes in your child’s transportation to or from school. This link is also available in our contact information header above.
Parents of Haycock students should have received a letter containing information about the new Student Information System (SIS) Parent Accounts. The SIS Parent Account will provide access to view your student’s attendance, report card grades, and additional information. Additional information can be found on our SIS Parent Accounts page.
Help Us Reduce Waste!
One of our goals at Haycock this year is to maintain the cafeteria waste management program implemented last year. As one of the key components, we donate unopened food to Columbia @ Crossroads food pantry. Our 6th grade Green Team members sort, log and pack up the food, but we need adults to drive the crates to the food pantry every Friday morning at 9:00am.
If you are interested, you will find more information and can pick a time slot on Sign-Up Genius here.
Thanks for supporting our environmental efforts!
