Discuss with your student a homework procedure that fits in with your family's schedule. Identify a quiet location with a flat surface and good lighting where your fifth grader can work each night. Ask to see his/her assignment book the first night and check it each night afterwards. |

Teachers Agree - Two of the most important things leading to fifth grade success in class and on the SOLs are completion of assignments and knowledge of the third grade multiplication facts. |
