THE SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST'S RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
-
Screening – for Kindergarten students and other new-to-FCPS 1 st -3 rd grade students
-
Evaluation – of speech and language skills, including standardized assessment & curriculum-based assessment
-
Development and implementation of curriculum-based Individualized Education Programs – for students who qualify for SL services
-
Consultation & Collaboration – with teachers, specialists and parents
-
In-service training – for teachers & staff
-
Participation in school community activities
