Tips on sending in prepayments to purchase or add to a student’s meal card:

How do I put money on my child's lunch account?
Parents have three options to pay for their child’s lunch account:

  • Online – Using www.myLunchMoney.com. The service is easy to use, convenient, private, and secure. There is a convenience fee of $1.95 per transaction. Once the account is open, parents may check the fund at any time from computer or phone.
  • Check - If you want to add money to your child's lunch account, send in a check please make payable to Greenbriar West Food Service.
In memo section of check please put student's legal name on check (no nick names) and teacher/grade.
For parents who wish your student's to have Lunches Only (no extras- just the basic lunch) please put it on the check each time one is sent in. If you do not will be put in a cash account where the student may buy anything they want
Cash - When sending in cash, place in envelope with the same information as with a check.
Note: If you are paying for lunches loaned to your child by the PTA, Please send this money in the Green envelope provided . Clearly label payment as PTA Lunch Card Reimbursement.

How do I know if my student is running out of money?
We will start stamping the students hand with "I Need Lunch Money" and a sticker when the account reaches $7.25 or 3 lunches.

What happens if they don't have lunch money?
The PTA has a lunch account so the student may receive their lunch. But it must be paid back to GBW PTA. The PTA will send green envelopes home to the parents. The students are only allowed to borrow a few times, then will receive a homemade peanut butter & jelly sandwich or jelly sandwich, which is provided to by the PTA for your child.

What is for lunch because my student does not eat pork?
The lunch menus is linked off the school website. Plus they are sent home in the folders each month and are shown on WGBW each morning.

All pork items on the menus and on the serving lines are marked with pink pigs. We will help the student in any way we can. However, it is the student's responsibility to know that they are not supposed to have pork.

What if I have questions about my students account or want to change it how do I call?
