A message to someone with an Internet Address

Internet addresses must show the e-mail user and the server where their e-mail resides. i.e. userid@erols.com. Our FirstClass e-mail address is userId@fc.fcps.k12.va.us.

A personalized e-mail address list

You have an address book in FirstClass where you can store mailing lists to send
messages to groups of people. The message will go to each persons mail box rather
than where with a conference, the message goes to a special interest group.

Download an attached file

Attached files are opened the same way. Double click on the attachment and you will
be asked where you want to save the file. Navigate to the place to save the file
(otherwise it will automatically be saved in the download folder in FirstClass)
and SAVE the file.

If you want to automatically open an attachment, hold the OPTION key for Mac and the
CTRL key for PC and the file will open when downloaded if you have the appropriate
