The Grange Hall

The Grange Hall that was built around 64 years ago still stands off Route 193 in Great Falls. The word "grange" means farm or estate. The Grange was used by the area farmers as a meeting place. Members of the Grange helped with different projects in the community such as improving roads, education, and holding carnivals for the area residents. They even had a community library with over 100 books!

The Grange members sold the property in 1980 to the park authority. The Grange Hall has one main room with a stage at one end and a balcony at the other. It is still used for plays, community meetings, wedding, parties, and serves as a community center.
