Colvin Run Mill School House

Colvin Run Mill School House is a famous school house in Great Falls. It is famous because it is one of the oldest schools in Great Falls that is still up. It was built around 1894. There was no running water back then so every day a couple of boys would go get buckets of water from the house next door(which isn't there anymore.) Since they didn't have running water they had outhouses. The girls went on one side and the boys went on the other. They couldn't wash their hands either because of no running water. You stayed at the school for 6 hours and 15 minutes.

For a while it was a two room school house, but after a few years they weren't getting enough students so they changed it to a one room school house. Today it is used as a hall for meetings.
