Northern Virginia Association of Realtors®

Partnered with Graham Road since 1998, the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors® has provided both financial and educational support to the Graham Road Community. NVAR is the voice for real estate in Northern Virginia, and represents about 10,000 Realtor® and business affiliate members who work in support of NVAR’s mission to promote the right to own, transfer and use real property.  Homeownership builds strong communities, which in turn helps support local schools.

Each December, members of Graham Road’s student choir sing at the association’s Installation and Awards Ceremony. NVAR members also provide holiday toys and items each year for the children of Graham Road.
NVAR has partnered with school staff to host a field trip and a tour of the LEED-certified Fairfax headquarters for sixth-graders, which included a lesson about recycling and “green” goody bags.
Contributions of magazine subscriptions, funds for computers, clothing donations, supermarket gift cards and bake sale fundraisers are just a few of the ways that NVAR staff have supported the students and teachers at Graham Road in recent years.

McLean Baptist Church

McLean Baptist Church offers support to the students, faculty and staff through various projects, including adopting families at the holidays, providing school supplies, assisting in classrooms, collecting box tops for education, contributing to eye care assistance, donating to the community clothes closet and giving gifts for teacher/staff appreciation. GRES students have performed for McLean Baptist Church 's ESL students. This new partnership also assists with the relationship between GRES and Chande School located in Kitwe , Zambia.

Reed Smith

The Falls Church office of the Reed Smith law firm first partnered with Graham Road Elementary School in 1999 by starting the 1st annual backpack and school supply drive (which has been featured in several media outlets). Reed Smith also provided the first mentors for the school. Over the years, Reed Smith has contributed to book drives, Thanksgiving baskets, adopting a family at Christmas, a winter hat & mitten drive, provided readers for Dr. Seuss's birthday celebration, provided speakers for career day, purchased student agendas, as well as provided judges for their annual Science Fair. Their employees have also donated gently used clothing and household items for the community closet and the PTA yard sale. In turn, the students have presented choral concerts and had a tea party at Reed Smith offices. The students' artwork decorates their kitchen wall. Please visit the Reed Smith website for further information on our firm. **10 year service award and FCPS Partner of the Year in 2008**
