International Baccalaureate

Middle Years Program

IBO General Regulations

Fundamental Concepts
Holistic learning, communication, and intercultural awareness are fundamental concepts of the IB Middle Years Program.

Curriculum
IB's Middle Years Program provides a rigorous academic experience that includes a thorough study of eight distinct but interrelated disciplines.

IB Works
Glasgow students are actively engaged in hands-on, interdisciplinary learning. See samples of their best work here.

8th Grade Personal Exhibition

Many eighth grade students complete personal exhibition projects: research, analysis, and planning for high-level inquiry and independent learning.

Community Service
Sixth, seventh and eighth grade students participate in community service as part of the IB Middle Years Program. Our goal is to encourage thoughtful, active citizenship-- both locally and globally.
