This course is one part of the four-part ESL A course and is also alternating curriculum. It is based on the major concepts of upper elementary and seventh grade curriculum and provides a foundation for future SOL achievement. In even years students learn about geography and study U.S. History from Exploration through the New Nation. In odd years students study geography and U.S. History from the New Nation up to the Civil War.
