History of the School:Fort Belvoir Elementary School opened its doors in September 1998. It was created from three elementary schools on Fort Belvoir merging into one new school. Those schools were Barden Elementary School, Cheney Elementary School, and Markham Elementary School, originally DOD schools later taken over by Fairfax County Public Schools... more
