CONCERT ORCHESTRA
Grades 7 and 8 - Full Year
Beginning students are encouraged to enroll. This class will offer instruction in completing beginning level skills and starting intermediate level skills. Opportunities for public concerts will be provided and attendance is expected. Periodic after-school rehearsals will contribute to student's grade.
SYMPHONIC ORCHESTRA
Grades 7 and 8 - Full Year Elective
***Prerequisite - Audition by Orchestra Director***
This class will offer instruction in the development of intermediate performing and ensemble skills. Emphasis will be placed on the improvement of individual performance techniques and class performance skills. An acceptable audition is a prerequisite for this class. Opportunities for public concerts will be provided and attendance is expected. Periodic after school rehearsals will contribute to student's grade.
