Concert Choir
Grade 8 - Full Year
Concert Choir is a chorus of eighth grade girls and boys who will be musically challenged by performing two- and three- part music (soprano, alto, baritone). The group will work on vocal production and technique, music reading and overall musicianship through daily work, solo and ensemble singing, and many performances at Franklin, District festival and at our spring trip. All eighth grade singers are welcome to join.
Girls Select Choir
Grade 8 Full-Year
***Prerequisite - Audition by Chorus Director***
This select chorus is for eighth grade girls who want to
participate in an advanced level choir. Two-, three, and four-part treble
music will be preformed with an emphasis on high-level vocal skill
development. A variety of music literature will be performed from
classical to contemporary styles. The girls will be offered many
opportunities to perform at Franklin, District Festival and our spring trip
choral festival. An audition is required to participated in Girls Select
choir.
