7TH GRADE SCIENCE

INVESTIGATIONS IN ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE

Full Year Required

Investigations in Environmental Science is an inquiry-based course where students develop a complex understanding of change, cycles, patterns, and relationships in the natural world.  Students explore the patterns of cellular organization of organisms; the dynamic relationships among organisms, populations, communities, and ecosystems; and change as a result of the transmission of genetic information from generation to generation. The three themes that form the basis of this course are properties of living things, ecosystems, and diversity.
