1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1/3 cup margarine or butter, softened 1/3cup shortening 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1. preheat oven to 375 2.Measures and stir together in a large mixing bowl: 1/3 cup margarine or butter, softened 1/3 cup shortening 3. Measure 1/2 cup granulated sugar. Stir into margarine and shortening Measure 1/2 cup brown sugar and stir into margarine an shortening 4. Stir in 1 egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla into ingredients in large mixing bowl 5. measure into a small mixing bowl: 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 6. Gradually stir flour mixture into ingredients in large mixing bow, 7. Stir in 1 cup chocolate chips. 8. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls, about 2 inches apart, onto ungreased baking sheet . Bake until light brown, 8-10 minutes. |
