Student Enrollment Form
Central Student Registration This office provides school enrollment for students whose home languages are other than English, foreign exchange students requiring I-20 student visas, all students whose natural parents or legally adoptive parents do not reside in Fairfax County, tuition-paying students and students in foster care placed by other Virginia Counties or by out-of-state agencies. Registration Procedures
The following registration procedures have been developed to ensure a smooth transition and optimal placement and scheduling for your child. The student must be accompanied by the person with whom he/she lives, either a parent or a court-appointed guardian or legal custodian. Accompanying adult may be required to present a photo identification card.
To register a student, parents must provide:

Proof of residency: A deed, lease agreement, sales contract or resident manager’s letter is acceptable.

Proof of birth/citizenship: An original birth certificate is required for all students.

Social Security Number: Evidence of federal social security number is requested for United States citizens and non-U.S. citizens who hold documentation of permanent residency.

Documentation of previous educational program: School records and/or original transcripts are required

Health documentation: Immunization Requirements: Official documentation including complete dates (month, day, year) is required for the following:
- DPT, DTaP, Td,DT
- Tdap
- OPV, IPV
- MMR
- HBV
- Varicella (chicken pox)
- HIB
- PVC
- Tuberculosis screening: Required for all students who have resided in a foreign country during the last 5 years for a consecutive period of 5 or more months.

FCPS Parent Resource Center
The Parent Resource Center has moved the satellite office from Poplar Tree Elementary School to Buzz Aldrin Elementary School. The PRC office is located in room 126. The Parent Resource Center promotes parent awareness of the services provided by Fairfax County Public Schools for children with special needs and their families. The Center provides seminars, training programs, and information to foster the parent/professional partnership.The Aldrin Parent Resource Center has many resource materials in English and Spanish as well as a lending library of books on special education topics. Please drop in or call, check out some books or come by to chat! My hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 to 12:30. If you need to meet at another time, just give me a call. I'm looking forward to meeting you.
