Suggested Email Guidelines

You can be assured that e-mail from the Forestville staff will be answered in a timely manner. We will make every attempt to provide an answer within 2 school days.
Unlike other workplace environments, teachers and staff are involved in instructional responsibilities throughout the school day and are not available to correspond via e-mail. Staff members usually check their e-mail once a day - in the morning, during planning, or at the end of the day.
Time-sensitive correspondence such as changes in pick-up times for students and administrative questions should be phoned into the office so they can be directed to the appropriate staff members.
Please include the following in your e-mail messages:
- Identify yourself in all electronic communication.
- Create a single subject message whenever possible. This allows us to address each message or forward it to the appropriate person for a response.
