Girls on the Run®
Registration for Forestville's Girls on the Run program is currently underway September 1-12 at www.gotrnova.org. Girls on the Run is a curriculum-based program for girls in grades 3-5. Practices combine an innovative and fun curriculum designed exclusively for pre-teen girls addressing specific life skills through the use of games, warm-ups and workouts. The program begins during the week of September 26 and culminates in a 5K at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, VA on November 20. The goal of the program is to encourage positive emotional, social, mental, and physical development. Be sure to check out the website at www.gotrnova.org for more information. Questions?
