In second grade our language arts focus continues to be reading and comprehension strategies. We continue to develop vocabulary and word studyskills. In writing we focus on story elements and the writing process. Our major math units include number sense up to 1000, addition and subtraction with regrouping, telling time to 5 minute interval and counting money up to $2.00.
