The Floris Library
Librarian: Mrs. Tiffany Dowling
Librarian Assistant: Mrs. Judy Zak
Our mission is to help our students develop the skills that will enable them to become independent in their search for knowledge as well as to learn to appreciate and value literature.
Library hours are 9:15 AM - 4:00 PM. Students come individually, in small groups, or with their classes to enjoy stories, check out books, learn about the Dewey Decimal System and develop research skills. Library volunteers are an important part of our library. They read to classes, assist with class projects, shelve materials and help us make the area attractive and orderly for students. The Floris Library has Internet access, electronic encyclopedias and online databases.
Students, faculty and parents are always welcome in our library!
