Building Maintenance Overview
Falls Church High School teachers, staff, and students have access to a highly specialized custodial staff that is capable of managing most building-wide maintenance issues.
The building maintenance staff at Falls Church High School is comprised of several individuals who work to keep the school clean as well as operational both inside and out. Overall, these individuals perform the following duties:
- Oversee the cleanliness of internal facilities.
- Oversee the cleanliness of external facilities.
- Perform minor troubleshooting & maintenance to school facilities not excluding equipment and furniture.
- Directly support teachers and staff by distributing supplies, equipment, furniture, and other products.
The mission of the Falls Church High School building maintenance staff is to provide clean internal and external facilities for students, staff, and the community while performing maintenance of the school as a whole and aiding in the distribution of supplies and products necessary to the functioning of the school.
It is the vision of the Falls Church High School building maintenance staff to have a school that is clean, both inside and outside; equipment that is maintained and operational; and staff as well as students who are provided products and supplies necessary to the proper functioning of the school.
