Career Day is scheduled for Thursday, April 24, 2008, 8am-10am.  Come hear about career options in various fields such as, health, beauty, engineering, trades, apprenticeships and many more.  It will be held in the Little Theatre.  Make sure you teacher has signed up your class!!!!

1. 2008 HBCU College Tour with stops in Atlanta, North Carolina and Virginia will take place Sunday, March 16-March 19, 2008.  Trip is sponsored by the Ebenezer African Methodist Episcopal Church.  Please stop in the Career Center for additional information.

2. Colleges That Change Lives College Fair will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2008 at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner at 3pm.  Check out the website at www.CTCL.com for more details.

3. Attention Senior athletes……The John Morris Scholarship aka "The Booster Scholarship" is now available!!!!  Stop by the Career Center to pick up a copy.

1. Seniors!!!!!!  The SkillSource Job Center is hosting a  Training & Career Connections Day:  What are YOU going to do after High School?  It will held on April 17th, 2008, 2:30pm-4:30pm.  It will held at Herndon HS 700 Bennett Street Herndon, VA. If you need help in finding a job they can help.

2. Seniors!!! New scholarships available include a cheerleader scholarship, future teacher scholarships, scholarships just for young women and many more, too many to list!!!!

3.  American University is hosting the 11th Annual Hispanic Law Conference:  Latino Perspectives on the 2008 Election.  It will held on Wednesday, March 5, 2008, 10:00am-9:00pm.  There is no charge to attend but registration is required.  To register, please go to http://www.wcl.american.edu/hispanic/

The Falls Church High School Career Center is located in Room 100 across from the main office and it is open from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday evening hours are available by appointment only.

The Career Center has information for students with regard to:

3. Standardized tests, SAT, ACT, TOEFL
4. Career options
5. Volunteer and job opportunities
6. Technical and trade schools
7. Links provide additional useful information
