Academy
Overview
The
Falls Church High School Academy Program is a specialized
"school within a school" that offers highly specialized
courses to its students as well as other Fairfax County
high school students. Many of the courses offer certification/licensure
opportunities as well as direct hands-on training with
highly specialized staff and business partners. In many
regards, courses significantly prepare students for immediate
entry into the work force as well as advanced post-secondary
study.
Mission
The mission
of the Falls Church High School Academy Program is to provide every
Academy student with essential, rigorous
instruction in an environment in which all academic, career, and
skill-related competencies are systematically identified and met.
