The Standards of Learning (SOL) for Virginia Public Schools describe the Commonwealth's expectations for student learning and achievement at the state level. Fairfax County Public Schools tests for the same learning and achievement, but some of the subject tests are administered at different grade levels in FCPS than the state has outlined on this link.
