Meet Our Librarian

Hello Everyone! I am Ms. Diane Bounds, librarian at Fairhill Elementary School. This is my first year at Fairhill Elementary School. I am assisted in my responsibilities as librarian by Mrs. Donna Yazman, Fairhill library clerical assistant.

The Fairhill library strives to ensure that students become independent and effective users of both print and nonprint information. The library program seeks to foster the joy of reading in all students. Through collaboration with classroom teachers, reading and research skills are emphasized in the library teaching program. Mrs. Yazman and I welcome parent and community volunteers as helpers in our busy library. Fairhill students love and borrow many books each week. We rely on and are thankful for our wonderful volunteers who shelve books for us and who help with such special events as our book fairs each year.
