Kid Power at Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children
Kid Power is a group of children in the community (K-12) who want to make a difference in the lives of other young people through philanthropy and community service. Please contact Ms. Cochrane for detailed information.

Summer Volunteers
Summer is a great time to volunteer! Keep track of your volunteer hours and turn them in to Ms. Cochrane when school starts for Super Kids credit.

Students can receive credit for volunteer hours and earn a chance to get a certificate, tee shirt, or medal for volunteering through the Presidential Volunteer Service Award Program. The guidelines are simple, and the opportunities are numerous! The program will run September 2008 through June 2009.

To earn credit for your volunteer hours please remember to print the log sheet and fill in your hours. All you need is one log sheet per quarter and remember to have it signed by an adult. Turn your log sheets in to Ms. Melissa Cochrane at the end of each quarter.
