Welcome to Fairfax Villa!
Please come to our annual Book Fair Monday, November 17th through Friday, November 21st from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Our evening Book Fair will be on Wednesday, November 19th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The book fair is a fundraiser that allows us to buy many new books for the library. We appreciate your support. If you would like to volunteer at the Book Fair, please contact Robin Mims at 703-267-2890 or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
SIS Parent Accounts
As part of the Woodson Pyramid, Fairfax Villa is participating in a pilot program that is providing parent accounts for our FCPS Student Information System (SIS). Each parent will receive a letter in the mail providing a web address, activation key and directions for registering for your account. These letters should arrive by the middle of November. You do not have to come to the school to set up this account.
As another form of communication between parents and Fairfax Villa, this account will enable you to view your student's attendance, report card grades and other information. Click here to view a video about setting up your account and what you will see through the Parent SIS account. Please be aware that there are aspects in the video of what is shown for middle and high school students that are not in the elementary school view.

Please support our SCA food drive. We are collecting canned goods through Friday, October 31st. Thank you for your generosity!
Stand Up Against Bullying Week
From October 27th to October 31st, Fairfax Villa students will be learning more about how to stand up against bullies. There are lessons with the counselors that emphasize the power of the bystanders - the students who see bullying happening.
On Wednesday, October 29th, we will have a special Spirit Day - wear your favorite shoes with crazy socks. Join us in saying YES to "Standing Up to Bullying and Being a Good Bystander!"
Fall Fun Fest
Join us on Friday, November 7th from 7:00-9:00pm for an evening of fun - obstacle course bounce house, DJ, a magician, face painting, and much more. Pizza will be available at 6:30pm for $3 a slice.
This is a Fairfax Villa PTA-sponsored event for current Villa students and their families only. All children must be accompanied by an adult. This is not a drop-ff event.
