DREAMBOX!

We are excited to announce that our school has purchased Dreambox accounts that students can use at school or at home. Students in grades 1-6 will be accessing Dreambox here at school and can also use it at home; students in kindergarten will have it for home use only.

What is Dreambox? DreamBox is a rigorous math curriculum that students access online.  It adapts to meet each student’s educational needs while playing within the program in an engaging learning environment on a desktop computer, laptop or iPad.

Click the following links to read more (in English and Spanish) about Dreambox and how parents can access Dreambox and set up their own parent account. If you have any questions about how your student should log in to Dreambox, please contact your child's teacher. For more information, click here to get more Parent Information on Dreambox.

Here is the link for our Fairfax Villa Dreambox login.

SIS Parent Accounts

As part of the Woodson Pyramid, Fairfax Villa is participating in a pilot program that is providing parent accounts for our FCPS Student Information System (SIS). Each parent will receive a letter in the mail providing a web address, activation key and directions for registering for your account. These letters should arrive by the middle of November. You do not have to come to the school to set up this account.

As another form of communication between parents and Fairfax Villa, this account will enable you to view your student's attendance, report card grades and other information. Click here to view a video about setting up your account and what you will see through the Parent SIS account. Please be aware that there are aspects in the video of what is shown for middle and high school students that are not in the elementary school view.
