Farewell, Mr. Wright...

We are sad to see Mr. Wright leave us this week, but wish him all the best in his new position as Assistant Principal at Daniel's Run Elementary School. We hope that he will come back and visit us and know that he will always be a Villa Dragon! Thank you, Mr. Wright, for all you have done for us here at the Villa. We will miss you!

Hour of Code!

Spirit Day: Pajama Day!

On Wednesday, November 26th, we will be having a cozy, comfy Spirit Day - most popularly known as Pajama Day! Students may come dressed in appropriate pajamas that comply with the school's dress code. We also ask that regular shoes be worn since slippers are not safe in the building. Please keep in mind that it is cold outside when selecting pajamas to wear to school.

SIS Parent Accounts

As part of the Woodson Pyramid, Fairfax Villa is participating in a pilot program that is providing parent accounts for our FCPS Student Information System (SIS). Each parent will receive a letter in the mail providing a web address, activation key and directions for registering for your account. These letters should arrive by the middle of November. You do not have to come to the school to set up this account.

As another form of communication between parents and Fairfax Villa, this account will enable you to view your student's attendance, report card grades and other information. Click here to view a video about setting up your account and what you will see through the Parent SIS account. Please be aware that there are aspects in the video of what is shown for middle and high school students that are not in the elementary school view.
