Fairfax High School is pleased to again sponsor the Rebels Reunite activity on Tuesday, August 28 from 3:00pm – 7:00 pm. This idea came about because parents and students were unhappy with the amount of paper work that came home each year in the first day packet. Our goal was to cut down on the amount of paper used as well as the amount of time spent reviewing all of the documents. All of the required forms can be found below.
Rebels Reunite will eliminate the need for the old first day packets and is also an event in which to celebrate the beginning of the new school year while collecting important information at the same time. The event is designed to be an opportunity for parents to do some “one stop-shopping,” too. Parents will have the chance to purchase gym uniforms, sign-up for PTSA and Parent View on Blackboard, receive information about Fairfax High School clubs and activities, and receive student schedules and locker combinations.
All forms and information are posted here - don't forget to scroll to the bottom. Parents and students will be able to print the forms at home and turn them in at the event on August 28, 2012. Extra forms will also be available at the activity. Rebels Reunite will provide a fun opportunity for students and parents to reconnect with friends, turn in required forms, and also collect information for the upcoming school year. Information about PTSA, clubs, sports, and activities may be picked up at tables set up near the Cafeteria. The Cafeteria itself will be set up for students and parents to turn in all the required forms and pick up their schedules and locker combinations. Parents and students may also purchase PE uniforms in the Field House lobby.
FHS counselors will be available to help with schedule changes due to errors only. Students must pay all outstanding financial obligations and turn in the competed and signed Emergency Care Form and the Health Information Form before they will receive their locker combination and class schedule. Our school finance assistant will be set up in the Senior Lunch Room (in the FHS Cafeteria) to assist families who need to pay financial obligations. Eligible students will also be able to purchase a student parking pass and add money to their lunch account and parents will be able to sign up for Parent View on Blackboard.

Students and parents who are unable to attend on August 28, may also drop off forms and pick up schedules outside the main office on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, August 29-31 from 9 AM-2 PM.
When you go to the forms, click on "HIDE Instruction Box" located in the red box to view the forms without instructions. Click "SHOW Instruction Box" to bring the instructions back.
