Favorite Leadership Moment: When last year we thought we weren’t going to meet the goal of 16,000 cans but at the end, with more pushing and not giving up, we reached 21,000 cans. 

Future Goals: Become a lawyer, then become a T.V. judge or get on the Supreme Court

Sam Brett (Vice President)

Extracurricular Activities: Soccer, Basketball, Bana (bassoon), Marching Band (clarinet)
Future Goals: Go to college, move to New York City, and become a sports journalist for the New York Times or sports anchor for ESPN.   

Alison Liu (Treasurer)

Birthday: July 15, 1991

Extracurricular Activities: I play soccer, basketball, participate in National Honor Society, Math Honor Society, and serve as Vice President of FBLA.

Favorite Leadership Moment: I went to a FBLA Leadership conference over the summer and we ate pizza while watching the NBA ’06 Championship game, (Miami vs. Heat), with FBLA officers from other schools.  It got very competitive and it was hilarious seeing the “other side” of them. 

Future Goals:  I hope to attend the University of Virginia to study Business.  I also hope to be happily marries to a rich man, with three kids, and living in L.A.

 

Philene Vu (Secretary)

Favorite Leadership Moment: Finishing up the Junior Class of ’09 Homecoming Float in literally the last 2 hours before the Homecoming Parade, and still managing to win first place!

Ayesha Yousuf (Senator)

Kathleen So (Senator)

Future Goals: To have everyone be proud and excited about our school, and to have more people involved.  I want to grow as a leader and do great things.

Francesca Lee (Senator)

Birthday: April 18, 1991

Favorite Leadership Moment: Helping out with the canned food drive last year.  Leadership had set up a goal of about 16,000 cans but we ended up getting a little over 20,000 cans!  Ms. Melnick’s room was filled with boxes and boxes of cans, so many that we had to squish together for all of us to fit!  So, while it may have been uncomfortable to sit next to a tower of cans that could come falling down at any minute, it was a great feeling to know that Leadership was able to unite and inspire our school to work together for such a good cause. 

Future Goals: To study marketing and go to work in sales and advertisement.
