| Graduation Info - June |
- Please see the Field House map above. It will show you what entrances to use so that you will be able to see the face of the graduate you came to support as they receive their diploma. It is important to use the correct entrance. Once you have entered the field house, you may not cross over the floor of the Field House to the other side because the floor is set with chairs, musical instruments, microphones, camera/video equipment, etc.
- You may not stand in the aisles and walkways, either in the bleacher area or on the floor. As indicated in the Graduation Agreement, you may not come down from the bleachers to take pictures. A professional photographer will be photographing each student receiving their diploma. Also, a video will be made of the ceremony. It can be ordered using the link to the order form found in the Senior Corner.
- Doors to the Field House will open at 11am. Make sure your tickets are ready as you approach the ticket takers. Hold on to your ticket stub. Your ticket stub is required to re-enter the field house if you go to the lobby to use the restroom.
- If accommodations are required for handicapped/elderly guests, including special parking, seating, or sign language services for the hearing impaired, please contact Mr. Chris Haddock at 703-219-2239 or via e-mail at Christopher.Haddock@fcps.edu . Handicapped and elderly guests should enter at Entrance 21 (Field House lobby between the school and the Field House). An assistant will also be admitted.
- Restrooms are available in the lobby nearest the stadium.
- The graduation ceremony is an orderly, dignified occasion. Therefore, noisemakers, air horns, balloons, beach balls, confetti, etc. are not allowed at the school. Guests who do not comply will be required to leave the ceremony.
- Satellite parking will once again be provided at St. Leo the Great Catholic School which is across from Daniel’s Run Elementary School with a shuttle.
