One year course offered as Professional Photography Studio 1, with option to continue for second year in Professional Photography Studio 2.Course DescriptionStudents taking this course use industry-standard professional photography equipment to take photographs in both studio and location settings. Throughout the year, they learn and master the technical skills needed to import, select, manage, create, and showcase their digital images using state-of-the-art-software. Students gain professional experience in a multiplatform studio environment (PC & Mac) by completing commercial projects for Digital Imaging & Graphics Studio (DIGS), a business run through the class. There is an emphasis on professional business practices and portfolio development, so students are prepared for both entry level work and advanced study in photography.
