This class prepares students for the electronics/computer industry by providing them with entry level skills as an electronics/computer technician. An emphasis is placed on preparation for the industry-established A+ Computer Technician certification.

Network Administration (Microsoft)
Network Administration is a comprehensive, hands-on computer course where students are taught basic networking skills using the Microsoft Windows 2003 Server and Microsoft Windows XP Professional operating systems. Network Administration 1 concentrates on initial certification levels and the MCSA certification. Network Administration 2 concentrates on the advanced MCSE certification.

Oracle
This course will teach students how to create and manage an Oracle database. Students will also learn how to integrate databases with webpages to create dynamic websites. The main focus of the course is the Oracle SQL exam.

Culinary Arts
Emphasis is placed on cooking from the heart! This program is designed to simulate the daily operation of a hotel or restaurant kitchen.

Animal Science
Animal Science prepares students for a future in veterinary science. The first year focuses on basic animal care, breeds, and behavior. Level 2 students take an in-depth look into the anatomy and physiology of animals, which includes a comparative dissection at the end of the year.

Hospitality Management
The Hospitality Management Program gives students the opportunity to learn the hospitality industry through on-site, hands on training.  Students work with the staff members of the Hilton Springfield, Hampton Inn Springfield and Comfort Inn Springfield.

Automotive Collision Service
Students learn the skills needed to repair crashed and damaged automobile bodies to pre-accident condition. The state-of-the-art ADVANCED TECH curriculum used in this class was developed by industry leaders in Collision Repair Technology.

Auto Tech is a challenging program for the student who is preparing to enter the automotive field. The course focuses on auto repair and maintenance.

Construction Technologies
This program provides students the knowledge and skills for employment in today's residential, commercial, or industrial construction spare trades. Students learn the safe and proper operating procedures of basic hand and power tools including the newest technical tools used in the lab or on job-site construction projects.

Cosmetology
Cosmetology is a program that enables students to master selected cognitive and manipulative competencies. Emphasis is placed on safety, sanitation procedure, professional ethics, safety techniques, salon business management, and hair care chemistry.

Electrical Construction & Engineering
Extensive  practical experience is received by actually wiring a new house on  school grounds. Other tasks include performing school electrical maintenance and cutting, bending, and installing conduit. Students become familiar with many of the latest advances in the electrical field such as programmable  electronic control systems, fiber optics, and network wiring.

Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC)
This class prepares students for entry level positions in the Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning, or Refrigeration (HVACR) fields. It also prepares students for continuing education through an apprenticeship program or through college level programs.

Landscape Architecture & Turf Management
In this two-credit class, students develop the necessary knowledge, skills, habits, and attitudes for entry-level employment and advancement in such areas as landscape design, landscape construction, landscape maintenance, as well as turf installation and management. Students will sketch, draw and analyze potential sites for design purposes and potential. Students will also learn how to select, purchase, and install, and maintain plants and grasses, following industry standards and guidelines.
