Technology
All students in grades K-6 utilize one of our three computer labs for regular curricular enhancement or project based learning. Classes sign up for lab time at their teacher's request. Students learn computer skills ranging from using the mouse and becoming familiar with the keyboard to spreadsheet functions, databases and multimedia projects.
Each classroom is equiped with a SMART Board, projector and student computers. Our teachers participate in on-going training to utilize this interactive resource which energizes presentations and motivates learners. Teachers are incorporating them into many aspects of their lessons across all curricular areas and grade levels.
In addition, our staff utilizes technology resources such as streaming video, 24/7 Learning courses, mobile laptop labs, student response systems, document cameras and technology related units to enhance students' learning.
