GT Referrals
Any parent interested in referring their child (grades 2-6) for GT center placement should turn in their request form by February 6, 2009.  Forms may be downloaded from the GT website www.fcps.edu/DIS/gt/  Please turn forms into the office, addressed to Amy Albanese. 

GT Program Overview:
In grades K-3, the instructional programs for the gifted and talented students provide differentiated instruction to meet student educational need. The gifted and talented teacher collaborates with the classroom teacher to provide materials and learning experiences for the advanced learner in the classroom.
GT school-based services for the upper grades are also delivered through a collaborative model. Lessons are designed to challenge students to learn at a faster rate, think on a higher level and study sophisticated and complex content through extensions
