Teacher Page

This WebQuest was designed to meet the Virginia Social Studies SOL 3.11b:

The student will explain the importance of the basic principles that form the foundation of a republican form of government by identifying the contributions of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Rosa Parks, Thurgood Marshall and Martin Luther King, Jr.

Please note that the process section has a link to a trading card template. This template was created in Microsoft Office Publisher. For use with Deer Park students, the Publisher templates was loaded on the school server to give the students access. On the process page of the WebQuest itself, the template is actually a PDF file to be used as a sample since FCPS does not allow editable pages to be linked to any part of the school website.
