The Department of Information Technology (IT) initiated the
Internship program in the fall of 1999 at the suggestion of IT
Chief Information Officer, Maribeth Luftglass. Over a nine-year
period a total of 113 students have been hired. The interns become
part-time paid FCPS employees.
