What is FCPS 24-7 Learning?
Now that you are a member of the FCPS community, we want you to be connected with FCPS! FCPS 24-7 Learning is a web platform customized for FCPS students and parents. Through FCPS 24-7, you can check and access homework, classroom assignments, view class calendars, update your student's emergency contact information also known as weCare@school and much more.
How do I create my parent account in FCPS 24-7 Learning?
Follow the step-by-step instructions in "Creating a New Parent View Account and First Time Login". Be sure to have your E-mail address and the FCPS student ID numbers for your children when you register. You can find the FCPS student ID number on report cards and student class schedules.
You must have a valid email address to register for a FCPS 24-7 Parent Account. If you do not have an email address, you can register for a free email service or get a free email account from many sources such as Google, Yahoo and Hotmail to name a few. There are many other services available as well. Please note that you should investigate and make your own decision about which service is best for you. FCPS does not endorse nor support these services. This information is provided for the sole purpose of assisting you with determining which email service will best meet your needs.

How do I log in?

Using your browser, click on the text FCPS 24-7 Learning on the Fairfax County Public Schools home page, www.fcps.edu or go directly to http://fcps.blackboard.com

In the box labeled "User Name" enter parentreg

Click Login

You are now at the Parent Portal Registration, select To register Click here

Fill out the basic Parent and Student information

Click Submit

You will see a verification page that includes a unique key

PRINT THIS VERIFICATION PAGE or write down the unique key

Please take the unique key along with your photo ID to the front office of your child's school for verification. Do not send this with your child. You must validate the account in person.

The school will give you a New FCPS 24-7 Learning username and your password will be emailed to you.

What is weCare@school?
It is a wireless emergency care information service for schools. It provides parents with secure web-based access to update their students' emergency care information. Also, it provides first responders in schools (principals, nurses, police officers, etc with access to emergency information via wireless devices and cell phones. weCare@school is available through FCPS 24-7 Learning. Keeping your emergency contact information up-to-date in weCare@school automatically updates this information in Keep in Touch (KIT). Keep in Touch is the FCPS message system that will send emergency and outreach messages to staff, parents, and community members. When signing up for this service you can choose a variety of message types, such as voice calls, text messages, or E-mails. For more information, select Keep in Touch
