 Free for Fairfax County Public School students taking this course as a part of their regular school course schedule. If a student is already taking 7 courses and decides to add an online course, a fee of $600 per year-long course will be applied. For out of county students, a tuition fee of $700 per year-long course must be paid at registration.

Description:

Students continue to develop proficiency in all four language skills – listening, speaking, reading, and writing – with emphasis on the ability to communicate orally and in writing.  They learn to function in real-life situations using more complex sentences and language structures.  They read material on familiar topics and produce short writing samples.  Students continue to explore as they study the POS themes of Home Life, Student Life, Leisure Time, and Vacation and Travel.
