 Free for Fairfax County Public School students taking this course as a part of their regular school course schedule. If a student is already taking 7 courses and decides to add an online course, a fee of $650 per year-long course will be applied. For out of county students, a tuition fee of $750 per year-long course must be paid at registration

Description:  
Students learn to understand and produce the sounds, stress patterns, and intonation of the language. Through basic vocabulary and structure, they learn to initiate and sustain short conversations on familiar topics, read short passages, and write short/paragraphs. They listen to native speakers on tapes, and learn about family structure, school life, holidays, and geography of the country. Students will be assessed frequently on their spontaneous speaking proficiency
