 Free for Fairfax County Public School students taking this course as a part of their regular school course schedule. If a student is already taking 7 courses and decides to add an online course, a fee of $600 per year-long course will be applied. For out of county students, a tuition fee of $700 per year-long course must be paid at registration.

Description:

Students gain knowledge and skills in a variety of individual, dual, and team sports to develop competencies to promote an active lifestyle.  Concepts of physical fitness and conditioning are taught.  One quarter of the course includes instruction to the health education topics alcohol, tobacco, and other drug-use prevention (ATOD), nutrition, environmental health and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
