Free for Fairfax County Public School students taking this course as a part of their regular school course schedule. If a student is already taking 7 courses and decides to add an online course, a fee of $650 per year-long course will be applied. For out of county students, a tuition fee of $750 per year-long course must be paid at registration

Description:  
Advanced Placement Statistics includes graphical and numerical techniques to study patterns and explore data, strategies for developing a plan to conduct a study based on data analysis, probability as a tool for predicting distribution of data, and techniques of statistical inference. Students who successfully complete this course and an examination may receive credit and/or advanced placement for a one-semester college statistics course.

All students are required to take the Advanced Placement Statistics exam. Advanced Placement Testing will occur at the student's base school. Contact the counselor for details.
