Course Description

This course is for those who want more advanced hands-on knowledge and skills in the area of PC systems troubleshooting. Participants who complete this course learn how to create a hard drive "ghost" image files and then use that file to restore another system; install, configure, and manage network/Jet Direct printers; and diagnose and troubleshoot network/LAN connectivity issues. Participants have the opportunity to address specific issues and problems occuring in their school or workplace.

Prerequisites

Computer Systems Maintenance and Troubleshooting (Windows section) or equivalent experience with permission of instructor. Participants must have a networked computer running Windows 98 or higher available outside of class in order to complete homework assignments.
