High School School-Based Program
SOL Test Remediation Courses (For FCPS Students Only)
School-Based SOL test remediation courses are available only to FCPS students and prepare them to retake Virginia Standards of Learning End-of-Course tests. The program is highly recommended for students with scores in the 375 to 399 range.
Program Eligibility
FCPS students who have earned the standard unit of credit and who need to achieve a passing score on the related SOL test(s).
SOL Test Eligibility
SOL tests will be administered during the state mandated test dates. FCPS students may complete the associated SOL test upon completion of the summer school course.

(Writing is a two day test. Students must attend both days to complete the Multiple Choice and the Direct Writing/Short Paper tests.)

Only eligible students will retest on August 3 pending receipt of initial test scores.
Transportation
Transportation to and from base schools is the responsibility of the parent, guardian, or student. Transportation is provided for all FCPS high school students between and or among high schools that combine to provide classes. The summer school principal will provide bus information to students who register by June 23.
Attendance
Students are expected to attend the program each day to gain maximum benefit.
